Bobby Albi
Mills Crew
Robert Albi works as an Inside Sales Associate at Dish Network and lives in Highlands Ranch, CO. He began officiating in 2003 with the San Fernando Valley Football Officials Unit in Southern California.  He quickly fell in love with officiating and continued working high school football in Denver Colorado where he moved in 2004.  Robert graduated from Regis University in 2006.  He has worked numerous high school playoff games and was selected to work in the RMAC as a Line Judge in 2012.  During his second year in the RMAC he worked in the Division II NCAA Playoffs.  The following season he was named to the alternate RMAC playoff crew.  Robert serves as the Coordinator of Officials for the Semi-Pro American Developmental Football League based in Littleton, CO. 



Scott Amerman
Mills Crew
Scott Amerman started officiating football in 2003 at the high school level in Colorado.  He began officiating at the D-II collegiate level in 2011 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) as a Field Judge.  In 2012 and 2014, he worked a first round D-II NCAA playoff game.  Scott and his wife Kellee reside in Denver, CO with their two children, Ryan (6) and Ali Jo (3).  Scott is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a BA degree in Economics and currently works for AEG Live, an international concert promotion company.



Don Ariosto
Mills Crew
Don Ariosto lives in Huntington Beach, CA. Don has (3) children ages 17-12-10.   He is the owner of CIF Insurance Agency where has been licensed for 14 years.  He received a BS degree from West Chester University (PA) and an MBA from Pepperdine University.  He has been officiating for 14 years.  Don has been a HS crew chief for 3 years and prior worked on the line of scrimmage as a HL. In 2009, Don was fortunate to officiate the CA State Bowl Championship. He has also worked 3 HS Sectional Finals.  Don has worked as an NCAA HL for 9 seasons of which six seasons have been in the SCIAC Division III Conference in Southern California. Last season Don was ranked the #1 HL and #2 Flank in the SCIAC.



Tim Bennett

Tim lives in Scotts Valley, Ca, where he has worked for UPS, as a package car driver, for 22 years. Prior to working at UPS, Tim served proudly in the United States Army. Tim is married and has one child. He began officiating high school football in 1994 and NCAA football (CCFOA)) in 2005. Tim has been privileged to officiate 4 JC bowl games including the 2013 Community College Co-National Championship Game. Outside of officiating Tim enjoys spending time with his family, riding mountain bikes and enjoying the great outdoors. 



Terry Bernard
Mills Crew
Terry Bernard is a 26 year veteran of the San Diego Police Department.  He has two children, Brett (23), Alexandra (21) and lives in San Diego with his wife of 6 years, Lea.  Terry is a graduate of San Diego Miramar College where he earned an AS degree in Criminal Justice prior to entering the Police Academy.  Besides officiating, he’s also an Assistant Coach for a National Public Safety League Football team (San Diego Enforcers).  He began officiating at the high school level in 2004, became a Crew Chief in 2011, and in December was assigned his first High School Section Championship game as Referee.  Terry’s been working Junior College games for five seasons and was honored to be assigned his first JC Bowl game in November.  Football has been part of Terry’s life since childhood.  He looks forward to continuing his passion and the comradery that comes with it.   

 

Matt Binford

Matt Binford was recently hired as a Side Judge in the Big Sky Conference (DI-FCS) for the 2015 season. In 2014, Matt worked in the Northwest Intercollegiate Football Officials Association (DII/DIII/NAIA), and he has worked in the Western States Football League (NJCAA) since 2012. Matt’s recent postseason assignments include an NCAA playoff game (2014), the Valley of the Sun Bowl (2014), the El Toro Bowl (2013), and two Western States Conference Championship Games (2014 & 2013). In 2014, Matt was ranked as the #1 Side Judge at the Stars and Stripes Academy and was also a member of Bobby Ables’ #1 ranked crew. Matt earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Arizona, where he was a defensive back on the football team. He also has a master’s degree in education from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a law degree from Arizona State University. Matt and his wife live in Phoenix, where Matt is a competitive runner and an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona.

 

Bill Bishop

Bill resides in San Diego, CA and began officiating football in 2009 in Tucson, AZ where he attended college. He has officiated at the High School and Youth Level since 2009, four years as a member of SDCFOA and 2 years as a member of TFOA. In 2014 he began officiating at the Community College Level as a member of the SCCFOA and worked seven games in total. The highlight of Bill's 2014 season was being selected to officiate the CIF San Diego Section Open Division Final at Umpire. Bill also began officiating lacrosse in 2014. Bill was born and raised in Northern New Jersey, where he played high school football, wrestling and lacrosse. Bill’s family resides in New Jersey. Bill has worked for the Food and Drug Administration as a Consumer Safety Officer since 2011, which relocated him to San Diego.

 

Brian Bortness

Brian Bortness is a Residential Real Estate Appraiser who lives in Escondido, CA with his beautiful wife of 14 years, Mindy.  Brian is a step-father of three amazing children:  Bryce, Hayley and Mattie.  Brian is a graduate of California State University, Fresno with a BS in Business Administration, Option in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics.  Brian Honorably served in the US Navy and began officiating football in 2006. He is a member of SCFA on a Junior College crew as a SJ for the last two seasons.  He recently worked a SCFA semi-final playoff game.  At the High School level, Brian is a Crew Chief for SDCFOA and worked the 2014 Semper-Fidelis All American Bowl as a SJ.  Brian has also worked two San Diego Section CIF Championships games: D-IV and Open Division.  He has a passion for officiating football and is grateful for its fraternal culture.

 

Jonathan Braun

Jonathan Braun lives and works in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has a five year old daughter, Havana, who he enjoys spending time with. Havana already knows the signals for holding, safety, touchdown, first down and chop block. She has her own penalty flag and whistle which she tweets often.

Jonathan started officiating high school football in 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2009 he was voted the Junior Varsity Official of the Year. Since 2011 Jonathan has worked post-season assignments for the state of Utah. In 2011 Jonathan also began working NCAA games at the junior college level in the Western States Football League (WSFL). In 2013 he was hired to work Division II football for the Great NorthWest Athletic Conference (GNAC). In 2014 Jonathan was a member of Bobby Ables’ #1 ranked crew at SASA and worked his first college post season assignment for the WSFL. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Masters of Business from the University of Utah.



Reed Brotherton

Reed is an Assistant Principal who lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife, Mari and amazing daughters, Abigail and Madelyn. Reed began officiating football in 2003 at the high school level. After a brief hiatus to raise his young children, Reed returned to officiating high school football in 2008 and joined the Western States Football League in 2013 as a deep wing official. He was privileged to work the 2014 WSFL Championship and the 2014 Valley of the Sun Bowl. He also was selected to work the 2014 Sollenberger Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada. Currently, Reed is the Vice President of the Arizona Football Officials Association, which provides training to both high school and aspiring college officials.


 
Steve Brown

Steve Brown has been officiating football for 16 years, and he is entering his fifth year as a junior college official.  He has been a principal at a K-12 school for the last four years.  He is married to his wife Veronica and they have three daughters (15,12, and 6) and one son (14).

 

Chad Bryant

Chad lives in Center Point, IA with his wife Sandra, they have been married for 17 years. They have two young children. Grant is in the 6th grade and busy with football, basketball, and baseball. Jessye is in the 1st grade and loves baseball, football, basketball, and would like to officiate when she gets older. Chad is a Senior Systems Engineer at Rockwell Collins and an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. He has officiated high school football and basketball since 2009 and football at the collegiate level since 2012. Chad is currently a back judge in the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, his first year in the conference he worked as a line judge. Chad has received six post season high school assignments and two college post season assignments. Chad is also a back judge in the indoor football league.

 

Juan Cardenas

Juan Cardenas is 34 years old and lives in Las Vegas, NV. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He is not married and has no children. Juan’s football officiating experience consists of high school in Southern Nevada, JC with SCCFOA, and D3 with SCIAC. He started officiating nine years ago in Las Vegas and has always been a wing official. He’s been to officiating camps such as the Fresno High School, Southern Utah University (Tait-Consul), and West Texas. This will be the fourth time he attends the Stars and Stripes Academy. Throughout his officiating career he has had the privilege of working four high school ESPN games, multiple state playoff games, one state championship, and one JC bowl game.

 

Ben Cheffers

Ben Cheffers is a cost accountant that lives in La Palma CA.  He graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Business Management.  He started officiating high school football in 2009 for the Long Beach Unit.  Ben began working college football in 2011 for the SCCFOA a junior college unit in Southern California.  The following year 2012 he was hired in the SCIAC a DIII conference.  During his 3 years in the conference he had the opportunity to work 2 DIII playoff games.  He has also had the opportunity to work games internationally in Japan.  This offseason he was hired full time by the Big Sky Conference as a back judge. 

 

Paul DeVaux

Paul DeVaux resides in Lompoc, California and is 27 years old. He has been officiating for four years at the High School level as a Back Judge. This is his first year at the Stars and Strips Academy. He works for Vons in Santa Barbara, California as a Meat Department Manager.

 

John Downing

John Downing’s officiated in the Western Collegiate Football Officials Association (WCFOA) for Gary “Buck” McNanna, which involved schools from the Great West Conference (FCS), Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Southern Utah and UC Davis. During his five years with the WCFOA, John officiated games with many of the Big Sky Conference teams, such as Eastern Washington, Montana, Montana State, Sac State, and Northern Arizona. John has officiated the last three years for the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC, DII) and the Northwest Intercollegiate Football Officials Association (NIFOA) for Mike Burton. The NIFOA officiates schools for the Northwest Conference (DIII). John serves as the NIFOA Southern California area rep. John’s officiated as back judge in several college playoff games, including the 2011 DIII NCAA National Championship Game in Salem, VA (The Alonzo Stagg Bowl) and the 2013 NAIA National Championship Game in Rome, GA. John began his NCAA football officiating in 1996, working for Rich Kollen (SCFA) and Vern Sparling (SCIAC). John has also officiated the San Diego Chargers practices for the past 10+ years. John’s been involved in his high school officiating association (SDCFOA) as President (2007), Board Member, Instructor, and Crew Chief. He’s officiated in several CIF playoff games including the 2008 California State Championship Game. John, a Special Education Teacher, and his wife, Linda, have two sons, Luke and PJ, and live in San Diego, CA.  John attended the 2013 SASA.

 

Todd Evans

Todd Evans is an 8 year High School Football Official, with 2 years’ experience as a Small College Umpire in the Western States Football League.  This will be his first year attending SASA but has attended other college football officiating camps in the past 2 years.  He resides in Phoenix, Arizona and is employed at American Express as a Director in Data Security Policy and Process. 

 

Ken Faber

Ken Faber has been officiating football at the high school level for over eight years. Ken has worked state championship games, to also include several state semi-final games. Ken spends many hours of his time volunteering, working with kids coaching little league baseball. When Ken is not officiating or coaching he loves to spend time with his wife of twenty seven years. Ken resides in West Jordan, Utah.

 

Tony Fabiani

A bay area native, Tony has just completed his 6th year of officiating at the umpire position and has also completed his first season with the CCFOA out of California. He was awarded high school playoff games in the WCAL conference in just his 3rd year officiating and given an A ranking by the leadership staff for PSI (Peninsula Sports Inc.). Additionally, after his second season at the semi-pro level, he was awarded entry into the CCFOA for the 2014 season. He has recently relocated to the Denver area as of November 2014 and will be joining the CHSAA for the upcoming 2015 season.

Tony and Cheryl, his amazing wife of 11 years, and their 2 children, Bella (10) and Gabe (7) live, in Aurora Colorado.
 

John Fallman

John Fallman enters 2015 in his fourth season as a Head Linesman in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (Div. II) and Northwest Conference (Div. III).  Previously, John worked for three seasons in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (Div. III).  John also continues to work junior college football in the Southern California Region which he has been doing since 2005 where he has officiated as a Referee, Head Linesman, Line Judge, Side Judge and Field Judge.  John has had the privilege of working NCAA playoff games and the Junior College National Championship Game in 2010.  John resides in Garden Grove, California.  In his free time, John enjoys officiating high school basketball, traveling, going to concerts and regularly attending football study group meetings with his fellow officials. 

 

Chris Fowler

Known as “CM”, Chris lives in Lubbock, Texas and has chosen the single life. Currently he is a Graduate Student at Texas Tech University studying Health Sciences and looking for his Doctorate in Audiology.

This past season was his first year in college football working the Side Judge and Field Judge positions. Last year he had many memories; worked at AT&T Stadium, worked his first college game with his father, worked an international football game and earned a third round playoff game in Texas.

 

Ron Gillenberg

Ron joined the Marines graduated as the Honor man for 8 years and traveled the world multiple times. Ron is a war time service connected disabled veteran with several personal awards during his service until being Honorably Discharged.  After getting out Ron went back to his one true passion: football.  In 2003 joined the San Diego County Football Officials Association, earning his way to 4 CIF Championship Games and 8 Semi Finals as the HL. 

In 2011 Ron's work took him and his family to Japan where 6 days later they would experience a 9.0 earthquake and Tsunami while living on the coastal waters.  Ron's family was evacuated 10 days later when the President declared an emergency evacuation of non-essential personnel.  Ron was left to deal with the many new issues supplies, gas shortages, and nuclear radiation now detected in the harbor.  Ron received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Naval Command during Operation "Tomadachi".  During the time in Japan Ron was able to officiate in the JASOA where he officiated the 2011 season including the Semi Pro Armed Forces Teams from surrounding bases in ASIA.  Ron's tour ended and returned to San Diego in 2012.

Ron was then chosen to officiate the 2013 All Star game, and several semi pro games with Armed Forces and First Responder Football Games.   Knowing the commitment to College Ron held back until 2013 where he made the commitment to SCCFOA and made a JC Crew last season.

 

Dave Gudgell

Dave Gudgell lives in Murray, Utah with his wife of 16 years, Paulina, and their three boys, Alex (age 10), Nick (5) and Luke (3). They are expecting child #4 (a girl) in mid-August 2015. Dave works as a Director of Operations for Fidelity Investments in Salt Lake City, Utah and has been with this company for most of the past 15 years.

Dave has been working as a football official since 2009 and as a coach since 2012. He has worked as a junior college official since 2012 and received his first postseason assignment in the WSFL championship game this past November.

 

Jacob Gustafson

Jacob Gustafson and his wife Jodi live in Mesa, Arizona and have been married for 16 years with 4 children.  Jake owns and Independent Insurance agency in Mesa and has been selling Insurance for the last 15 years.  He just completed his 6th year as a small college football Umpire in the WSFL and has been working High School as an Umpire and Referee for the last 15 years.  He also has Umpired College and High school baseball for the last 16 years. 

 

Alex Hamann

Alex grew up in Denison, IA and graduated from High School there. Alex started working at the Deadwood Police Department about 25 years ago and is currently assigned to investigations as a supervisor. Alex resides in Lead, SD with his wife Joni and two daughters Sydnee and Samantha. Alex is looking forward to graduating with his master’s in Administrative Studies this fall.

As for his officiating career, he started at the intramural level in college, moving to middle school and sub varsity for a couple of years before starting to do varsity about 10 years ago. He has done first round playoff games, quarter final games, semi-finals games, and the South Dakota AA Championship game. About six years ago he started working with a College crew who did games in a now dissolved NAIA conference. After the conference dissolved four years ago and he worked with an independent crew at the NCAA division II level until the schools joined a conference. Alex started working in the RMAC last season. This is Alex’s third year at SASA and this will be his first year as an on-field official.
 

Patrick Herron

Patrick (PJ) Herron, a native of Colorado Springs, CO owns and operates Herron Electric. A commercial electrical contractor based out of Colorado Springs. Herron Electric has been in business for 9 years. PJ and his very patient wife, LeighAnn, have four children, Madisyn(8), Chase(6), Bryce(3), and AnnMarie(4months). The Herron family enjoys camping and boating during the summer. Taking advantage of the summer sun before the crazy fall comes around.
 
Patrick is currently in his third year officiating in the RMAC. He spent 7 years in the Colorado Springs High School association prior to moving into the RMAC. While this is his first year attending the SASA Academy, he attended the West Texas Clinic the past 2 years.

 

Terry Hinn
Sutter Crew
Terry currently lives in the metropolitan town of Rushville, Nebraska but is currently looking into purchasing land in the Black Hills. Terry has been a successful father raising two kids currently in college Trevor (21) at University at Nebraska Lincoln, and Peyton (19) a Junior College student at Sheridan, Wyoming.

He is a veteran to football officiating having worked 20 plus seasons in the sport. He has spent the past 3 season in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) as a Field Judge. Last year he was selected to represent the RMAC on the playoff crew.


 
JC Holt

JC Holt is 37 years old and lives in Pasadena, CA. He is a single father to 8 year old twin boys Joseph and Jarrett. JC is currently a full time student at Cal Poly Pomona and a SGT in the Army Reserves. JC served 3 years active duty in the U.S. Army, where he spent one of those years deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan. JC enjoys watching his boys play sports, working out, and officiating.

JC’s officiating career began in 2002 with football. JC currently works H.S./College football, H.S. basketball, and H.S. baseball. JC has officiated high school football for 10 years and college football for 5 years. JC’s football officiating experience consists of high school in Southern California (Foothill-Citrus Association), junior college with SCCFOA, and D3 with SCIAC. The past two years JC worked the Southern California junior college championship. He has also worked multiple high school playoff games and junior college bowl/playoff games. The Stars and Stripes Academy will be JC’s first college camp attended and he is truly looking forward to the great experience.

 

Jeff Hutcheon

Jeff and his family reside in Castle Pines, Colorado.  He has been married for 25 years and has two children, Lindsey and Peter.  Jeff has a great passion for sport as he played basketball for NCAA Division II Northwest Missouri State University and later worked in the professional sports industry with Fox Sports and in the front office with the Houston Rockets.  He is currently co-owner of Cornerstone Global and for the past 10 years has been leading a global marketplace ministry for leaders in business and government.

Jeff is heading into his 5th season of officiating football at both the high school and collegiate level.  He is currently a Head Linesman in the NCAA Division II ranks with the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.  This will be his first year as a participant in the SASA. 

 

John Isham

John Isham is a native resident of San Diego, CA. He has been officiating college football for the last 11 years and has had the pleasure of being in the SCIAC conference in Southern California as a Line Judge for the last 3 years. He has a teenage daughter and twin boys who are 13. He and his wife Kristen are expecting their first child together in April 2015. When he is not officiating, he works as a salesman for a concrete and building demolition company.


 
Josh Jacobsen

Josh Jacobsen grew up in northeast Utah. Attended college in Wyoming and Idaho, currently settled in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He shares a home with the 3 loves’ of his life, wife of 15 years Jessica and 12 year old twin daughters Rylee and Paige. Josh is employed with the City of Idaho Falls Fire Department, holds the rank of Driver/Operator and Paramedic. He is a founding member in the state of Idaho’s first Fire Department based Pipes and Drums band, playing the bagpipes. The public is often reminded that the band consists of firemen, not musicians! In his spare time he enjoys training for triathlons, most recently completing Ironman Boise 70.3, and chasing “the twins”.

Josh’s introduction to officiating started with intermural sports in college. For the past 14 years he has officiated High School Football and Basketball. Grateful to have 3 years with the Frontier Conference (NAIA – SJ) and 1 Idaho state championship football game. This will be the first year he has attended the SASA.

 

Sean Johnston

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois he currently lives in Omaha, Nebraska finding his wife Amber at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Together they have two children SJ (5 years old) and Alexis (18 months old) He is a full time sports official working football, basketball, and baseball at the college level, teaching a sports officiating class at the University Nebraska at Omaha, and running a sports officials association named Premier Sports Officials.

He is currently a Referee in the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) and has had 4 years of college football experience. His highlight thus far is being hired in the MIAA as a first year Referee and being selected as a post season Alternate during his first year in the MIAA.

 

Vidal Jones

Vidal lives in Kemp, TX with his wife of 28 years, Kelley, and their daughter Connie (9). They have two older daughters, Kristen (26) who lives and works with her husband Stephen in Houston and Alicia (24) who just finished up grad school in Denton. Although Vidal is involved in various business ventures his primary occupation is that of President and CEO of his local community bank. He began officiating football in 1993. Vidal called his first JC and small college games in 2001 working primarily as a deep official. He has since worked at all 7 positions at the JC level. He currently works as a crew chief in the Lone Star Conference (D2) and continues to work HS Varsity games in Texas at the Umpire position.

 

DJ June

DJ currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife Erin, of four years. Together they have been raising two boys Kodak (3) and Strykar (6 months). He currently is a Real Estate agent at Realty Executives.

DJ is going to be entering his third year of college football and is currently hired by Western States Football League (WSFL). Last year DJ worked the Valley of the Sun Bowl as a Back Judge with Justin Nash another member of Team Sutter. Along with working the college level DJ has worked the high school level for eight seasons and was awarded the high school state championship in the 2014 season.

 

Ben Keller

Benjamin was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. He currently resides in Las Vegas working for Bally Technologies as a Regional Sales Manager. He is constantly traveling but always makes time for officiating, working out and most importantly his Fiancé Mica! He started officiating youth games alongside his brother Dale at an early age then gradually progressed to High School and now Division II Football in the GNAC. After playing football at the University of Idaho, he started working Community College football in 2009, & currently Division II football in 2014. In addition, he the opportunity to officiate a NCAA Division III 2nd Round Playoff Game in 2013 and was selected as the Alternate Official for two post season (2014) Division II Playoff Games which included a 1st Round & Semi-final assignment.

 

Sheldon King

Growing up on the east coast in New Jersey Sheldon finds himself living in Chandler, Arizona. He is currently in a serious relationship with his girlfriend. During the day he gives his energy to our youth being a Supervisor at a Residential Boys Group Home.

Sheldon is currently working in the Western States Football League (WSFL) as an umpire. First started his career on the wing and was encouraged by his multiple mentors to move in the middle where he found his home. Last year he was selected to work during the post season in the WSFL.


 
Shane Lewis

Shane knows a few members on the crew and looks forward to meeting everyone when camp opens. He moved to Las Vegas in 1990 and worked in the sign manufacturing business for 13 years. Shane then switched professions and has been teaching high school ever since. His officiating began in 1993, in various high school sports such as football, wrestling and softball. He has 6 years of experience as an NCAA official working games in Southern Utah and California. In 2011 Shane had to take a break for personal family reasons but is glad to be back. His primarily officiating positions are Field and Side Judge but can also work Back Judge as well.


 
Michael Livingston

Michael Livingston resides in Seattle, WA with his wife Jeanette. He graduated from The George Washington University in Washington DC with a degree in Computer Engineering. After working a few years at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington DC as a radar engineer, he moved to Seattle, WA in 1999 and is currently a Senior QA Manager at Salesforce.com. He started officiating in 2003. In 2010, he was hired into the Northwest Intercollegiate Football Officials Association (NIFOA) as a Head Linesman.


 
Brandon MacEachen

Brandon lives in Albuquerque, NM where he works for the Mid-Region Council of Governments. He received both his BS and MS from the University of New Mexico. He has completed 13 total years of officiating 5 of which were in the Division 2 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. He has worked a High School State Championship game and a NCAA Division 2 playoff game.

 

Bret MacRae

Bret MacRae lives in Gig Harbor, Washington with his wonderful wife Kim.  He has two kids and two grandchildren.  It is so much fun being grandpa.  Bret has been with The Boeing Company for over 25 years and is the finance manager of a developmental manufacturing business in the commercial airplanes segment.  

Bret has officiated for 25 years.  Bret started his college career in 1996, and was a Referee in the GNAC for four seasons.   In 2011, Bret became a FJ in the Big Sky Conference, and has had the honor of working in the playoffs for three of those four years.  For this coming season, Bret will be a Referee for the Big Sky.

Ian Malepeai lives in Boise, Idaho with his wife and 1-year old daughter, and works for Idaho State Department of Commerce. Ian has been refereeing football for 6 years, 5 years at the high school varsity level, and played 4 years of varsity football at the collegiate level for Brown University. He has attended the Reno Football Officials camp in 2012 and 2013, and won an award at the 2012 camp which allowed him to attend the 2013 camp, free of charge. Ian is passionate about the game of football, passionate about providing a great game for young players, and passionate about improving his skills in hopes to one day move on to the collegiate level.

Currently lives in San Diego, California and has been in a lovely marriage of eight years to Colleen. During the day he is a computer scientist at Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center.

Zack most recently completed his third season as a Head Linesman in the SCFA. The most memorable moment for Zack came during a football game played at Qualcomm Park in San Diego. The game was in triple overtime and ended on a 99 yard Interception return. He remembers working reverse mechanics and beating the receiver by 5 yards to the goal line!

 

Joe Martinez

Currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico and in a serious relationship of three years with his girlfriend. Off the field his focus is on earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering so he can start his next chapter of his life at Sandia National Laboratory.

Joe is currently a Field Judge in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) and has had 3 years of college football experience. His highlight in his football career is being selected as a post season official during the last season. 


 
Jeremy McClenahan

Jeremy started officiating in 2002 at the high school level.  He began officiating at the collegiate level in 2009 when he joined the Community College Football Officials Association (CCFOA) working as a Field and Side Judge.  Jeremy was privileged to be assigned the 2013 Bay Bowl and the 2014 San Francisco Community College Bowl (northern California semi-final) in addition to working the 2014 division 1 Nevada high school state final.  Jeremy is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.  He is an aircraft structures engineer and FAA delegated engineering representative (DER) and lives in Reno, NV with his wife, Jasmine.  He has twins, a boy, Max, and a girl, Kalindi.

Mike McDaid lives with his wife Kerry and two children in Mission Viejo, CA and works as Director of Sales for a custom integrated circuit design company in Irvine, CA.  He began officiating HS football in 2009, JC football in 2010 and was hired as a Field Judge by the SCIAC (DIII) in 2012.  He has worked post season assignments in 2014 (Southern California JC Championship and JC Golden State Bowl), 2013 (JC-National Bowl) and 2012 (DIII – 2nd Round Playoffs and JC – Golden State Bowl).

Ray currently lives in West Jordan, Utah where he owns and operates a small structural steel detailing company. Together, he and his wife Molly have had two children Molly (4) and Christian (2).

Ray has been working football for the past eleven years and the previous two seasons in the Western States Football League. His highlight of his young career has been working the high school state quarterfinal game as an umpire.

Bear McGill has been a Correctional Deputy for the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office, twenty five years.  He has been married to his wife Shelley for thirty years; they have three boys Brandon, Greg and Chad.  Bear started Officiating High School and Youth football in 2008 and Junior College football in 2011.  He’s worked a C.I.F championship game in 2012 and has worked in two Junior College postseason Bowl games the last two years.  Bear is the chairperson for Honor Flight Central Coast California, raising money to take WWII, Korean and Vietnam Veterans back to Washington DC. To tour their Memorials that was built in their honor.

 

Jarod Middleton

Jarod lives in San Jose with his wife (Susan) and 2 children (Lily & Jack). He attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business in 1991.  In 1994, he graduated from Stanford Paramedic School and in 1995 he was hired by the San Jose Fire Department as a Firefighter/Paramedic.  His officiating career started in 2003 as a Head Linesman.  Jarod moved into the middle at Umpire in 2005 and has been there ever since.  In 2008, he began his College Officiating Career working for the CCFOA (The Organization) where he has worked 3 Community College Bowl Games in the most recent years.  He is a leader in his High School Group and is the Area Representative for his Junior College Association (CCFOA) as he gives presentations, mentors new officials and leads study groups off season.  Outside of work and officiating, he serves on the local School Board and enjoys biking, teaching Paramedic School and most of all, traveling with his family.


 
Jeff Mikus

Jeff currently resides in Kimberly, ID and is married to Casey. They have two beautiful daughters, Charley who is 3, and Audrey (AJ) who is 11 months. Jeff is a Dairy Technical Service Nutritionist employed by Diamond V, a feed ingredient supplier in Cedar Rapids, IA. Jeff spends most of his work time focused on helping large dairy farms produce a wholesome food by implementing management practices that help animals lead healthy, productive lives. Jeff’s formal education includes a B.S. in Animal Science from Tarleton State University, a M.S. in Animal Nutrition from New Mexico State University, and a PhD in Ruminant Nutrition from Texas Tech University. In his spare time, Jeff hunts and fishes throughout the world. Before relocating to Idaho, Jeff worked in the NCAA Division II Lone Star Conference for five years (2010-2014) and the Western States Football League intermittently from 2009-2014. Three of those years in the Lone Star Conference were as a Line Judge, and two as Referee. Jeff was fortunate to have worked the 2012 Brazos Valley Bowl (JC) as referee. Jeff has college experience at all positions, except umpire and continues to work high school games as time allows.

 

Craig Mitchell

Craig and his beautiful wife June have been married for eight years.  We currently live in the mountains in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO.  Craig has been installing decks and fences for a company in Littleton, CO for six years now.  Craig started his officiating career as a baseball and softball umpire in southern California in 2002.  At that time he didn't even think about officiating football.  It wasn't until 2004 that a fellow official asked Craig to officiate some football games at the Los Angeles Air Force base.  After the first game at the base, he was hooked.  Craig moved into high school football with the South Bay Football Officials and stayed there until he moved to Colorado in 2007.  Craig joined the Colorado Football Officials Association at that point and officiated for the next two years.  In 2009, Craig was able to move into collegiate football at the United States Air Force Academy, officiating the prep school on base and the Air Force JV team through the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.  The very next year in 2010, Craig had the great fortune of being accepted into the RMAC and working his first two DII football games.  In 2011, Craig became a full time official in the RMAC and he is still honored to be officiating for the RMAC today.  The 2014 football season was generous to Craig as he was named as the alternate official to the first team playoff crew.  The crew traveled to Duluth, MN to work a first round playoff game.  Craig has been working as an umpire his entire career and couldn't imagine not officiating this sport.

 

Monty Montgomery

Monty Montgomery began officiating football in 2006.  While working High School Varsity Football Mr. Montgomery has had the opportunity to officiate C.I.F. Southern Section Championship games in 2009, 2012, and 2014.  Mr. Montgomery’s collegiate experience began in 2010 when he joined the Southern California Collegiate Football Officials Association (SCCFOA). He also joined the California Collegiate Football Officials Association (CCFOA) “The Organization” in 2012.  Mr. Montgomery was appointed to a crew in the SCCFOA before the 2014 season. During the 2013 offseason Mr. Montgomery attended Walt Anderson’s 2014 Reno Football Camp.  Mr. Montgomery resides in Lompoc, CA with his wife, Cristina, and their 3 children. He works in the tribal gaming industry as a Technology Services Senior Systems Analyst.

 

Michael Moore

Michael Moore and his wife Kayla have 3 daughters together. He lives in Santa Maria, CA. He has been a Firefighter with the Santa Barbara County Fire Dept. for a total of 14 years, 7 as a volunteer and 7 as a career firefighter. He has been officiating High School Football with the Los Padres Football Officials Association for the past 3 years and is a Line Judge on a Varsity crew.  This is his first year attending the Stars and Stripes Academy.


 
Spencer Mumford

Spencer Mumford has been officiating high school varsity football for 13 years.  During that time he has worked several state playoff games in both Idaho and Oregon, including the 2011 and 2014 Idaho State Championship games.  In 2012 he was honored as the Official of the Year in the Idaho Third District Football Officials Association.  He has worked 3 years in the Frontier Conference (NAIA) as both Side Judge and Back Judge.  He currently resides in Nampa, Idaho, with his wife Kristin, and their four children.  He owns and manages a large residential cleaning company called “Maid To Clean”, and when he is not busy with work or football, Spencer enjoys spending time with his children and playing in competitive tennis leagues.
 

 
Joel Murphy

Joel Murphy, from Spokane, Washington, has been married for almost 16 years to his beautiful wife, Jodi. Just this past November he and Jodi adopted their two year old son, Mason, and he has been the biggest blessing for their family. Joel says, “Simply nothing compares to coming home after work and having your son at the front door saying, ‘Hi Daddy.’”

Joel has worked in Special Education for the past 13 years and teaches at North Central High School in Spokane where he also coaches fast pitch softball. Joel enjoys running, working out with a good friend and having the chance to coach and visit Europe with Northwest Basketball Camps.

For the past 13 years, Joel has enjoyed officiating high school football and basketball. Just this week he will referee his fifth state basketball tournament. He has also officiated several high school playoff football games and one semi-final. For the past 6 plus years he has officiated small college football and basketball. Currently he works for Mike Burton as a Field Judge in the Northwest Intercollegiate Officials Football Association at the D2 and D3 levels. This will be Joel’s first time attending Stars and Stripes Academy and he looks forward to meeting new officials and learning from others on and off of the field.


 
Justin Nash

Justin currently lives with a beautiful and loyal Australian Sheppard dog in Gilbert, Arizona. During the day he is a controller for an Environmental Insurance Broker.

He has been working football for nine seasons and the past three in the college levels. Last season he worked the Valley of the Sun Bowl game as a Head Linesman with another member of Team Sutter DJ June.

Tyler with his wife, Carrie, of four years just recently moved from Grand Junction, Colorado to Prescott, Arizona. Carrie and Tyler brought their two daughters Sami (3) and Sydney (2) along with them for the ride. Tyler currently runs a small company fixing electronic devices.

Tyler has been working football for the past 10 years and is making the leap of faith to join the college ranks during this offseason. His accomplishments thus far have been working a state championship and three semi-finals as a Head Linesman in Colorado.

Michael and his wife, Monica, live in Las Vegas, NV with their 5 year old daughter, Ava. He has been teaching elementary school for 11 years and currently teaches 3rd grade at Paradise Professional Development Elementary School in the Clark County School District. Michael started his officiating career in 2007. He began attending college rules meetings in 2011 and joined the SCCFOA 2 years ago. Michael has worked a number of Nevada state high playoff games at various levels since 2010, including two state semi-final games, as the Line Judge in 2011 and as the Back Judge in 2013. In 2014, Michael began officiating Community College football as part of the SCCFOA, working 9 games on the wing in his first season.


 
Dave Prather

Dave lives in Henderson, CO and has been married for 11 years and has one child.  He has a degree in Elementary Education and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1999.  Dave began officiating and coaching athletic sports including baseball, football, golf and basketball in 1990.  He was fortunate enough to officiate the 1994 National Baseball Congress (NBC) Little League World Series. 

Thereafter, he began officiating high school football in 2008 while having the opportunity to work many playoff games as a Back Judge (BJ).  He also officiated the 2013 Colorado High School Coaches Association (CHSCA) Football All Star game as a Field Judge (FJ).  His college football officiating career began as a part-time Side Judge (SJ), Field Judge (FJ) and Back Judge (BJ) in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) in 2013 and he was hired full-time as a SJ in 2014.

Rob lives in Kirkland Washington, where he is the owner of a manufactures rep business specializing in outdoor furniture.  Rob began working NCAA football in 2008.  He has worked a game at all 7 positions.  Rob currently works as a Line Judge in the GNAC (DII) and a Referee/Line Judge in the NIFOA (DIII) and is the area rep for the Tacoma group.  After the 2012 season Rob had the honor of being an alternate on the crew that worked through the quarter finals in the DII playoffs, and after the 2014 season Rob worked the opening round of the NIAA playoffs as a Line Judge.  Rob has worked 5 seasons of indoor football, works NCAA Lacrosse and is the instant replay field communicator for the NFL in Seattle and officiates practice for the Seattle Seahawks.

Currently living in Draper, Utah and is married to Rachell for over 15 years. Jeff is lucky to have four children and all to be boys; Chance (11), Owen (8), Carter (6), and Mcay (3). For his daytime job he is a Operations Manager at Convergys Corporation.

Jeff is currently working in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC). His primary position is a Head Linesman. During the past season he took the leap to the dark side and was able to put on a White hat for the first time at the college level. During last season as well he worked the WSFL Conference championship game.

 

David Reyes

David Reyes resides in Pasadena, CA, with his wife, Cassandra.  They have 2 children, ages 4 and 18 months.  He began officiating in 1996 and has worked Community College football for the past 9 seasons at Umpire, Side Judge and Field Judge.  In 2012, David was hired by the Division III SCIAC Conference as an Umpire.  He is grateful for the many opportunities and lifelong friendships’ officiating has afforded him and his family.


 
Robert Robe

Robert Robe (like bath robe) lives on a five acre ranch in Aromas, California with his wife Renate and 3 horses, 2 goats, 6 chickens, 4 cats and 2 dogs. Robert and his wife Renate are currently empty nesters. They have six children, three boys living together in Bend, Oregon, another son who lives with his wife in Eureka, California, a daughter who’s married and lives in Marina, California and another daughter who just finished her collegiate basketball career at San Francisco State University and who will be graduating this year in SF at AT&T Park on May 22. Robert graduated from San Francisco State University in 1982 with a degree in recreation after which he started a career with the City of Monterey Parks Division where he has been employed for the last 33 years.

Robert started his officiating career in 1986. Robert has officiated softball, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball and football. Currently, Robert officiates baseball, basketball and volleyball at the high school level and football at the high school and collegiate level. Robert started his collegiate football career in 2007 working for Dan Romeo and Dave Curschman in The Organization. For the first four years of Robert’s collegiate football career he worked both flanks and both deeps. For the last two years Robert has worked mostly Back Judge. Last summer Robert attended the Tait/Consul Football Officials Camp at Southern Utah University and picked up his first mentor, Terry White. Terry and Robert stayed in touch throughout last season and Robert was rewarded with 2 Junior College Bowl Games. Robert is excited to meet his new crew members and attend this year’s SASA Football Officials Camp so that he can work on improving his overall skills as a football official. He would particularly like to improve on his judgment of DPI and OPI as well as his understanding of the rules as they pertain to illegal touching and the goal line mechanics for scrimmage kicks.

 

Scott Root

Scott Root lives in La Verne, California with his wife Jennifer and son Turner.  He is a Special Education teacher at Covina High School.  Scott began officiating high school football in 1992, Junior College and Division III football in 1998 as a Back Judge and was hired in 2010 in the WCFOA.  Scott became a Referee for the SCIAC in 2005 as well as 2011 in the WCFOA.  Scott was hired by the GNAC in 2012 as a Referee.  He was hired by the Big Sky in 2014 as a Field Judge and was given the assignment to be a crew chief in 2015.  Scott has worked various Junior College Bowl games at LJ, FJ, BJ and Referee from 1998-2005.  He was assigned to the Southern California Junior College Championship games in 2002 (BJ), 2006 (R) and the California Junior College State Championship game in 2003 (LJ) and 2010 (R).  He has also worked post season assignments at the DIII collegiate level in 2000 (FJ)-first round, 2009 (R)-second round and 2010 (R)- quarterfinals.

Chris lives in Phoenix, Arizona and has been a professional in the Architectural field since 1999, specializing in Supermarket Design and currently manages the Corporate Design Department for Safeway.  Chris has been around officiating for more than 25 years as his father is also a football and baseball official.  Chris started officiating football about 10 years ago when his father was a youth football assigner and quickly found a new love for the game after playing through high school.  He currently works NJCAA and NCAA college football in the WSFL and GNAC (NIOA).  His accomplishments include 4 consecutive NJCAA Bowl Games and 1 WSFL Championship but his greatest accomplishment and joy in this world is being a father to his 5 year old son, Mason.  Mason puts life in perspective for Chris and has taught him more about perseverance than anything or anyone he has ever met.

Jon Sborov just completed his first year in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (D2-RMAC) as FJ, after 8 years officiating HS football in Austin, TX and Denver, CO primarily at LJ and HL.  He has a wife, Tara, of 22 years and 4 children - 2 daughters who are college athletes majoring in sociology and nursing, and 2 sons in HS who hope to follow in their sisters' footsteps one day.  He lives in Denver, CO and when he's not skiing or mountain biking, he pays the bills by working as a technology consultant in the healthcare industry who specializes in process improvement and project management.

 

Phil Solis

Phil Solis is a football official from Southern California (Whittier, CA) who has been working college football for 5 years. He works the Back Judge position. He has worked in the SCCFOA and SCIAC conferences. He has attended SASA for two consecutive years 2014-15. Phil also umpires baseball. He has umpired baseball since 2007. He currently is working in the PAC –WEST and CCAA conferences.

Phil works in a small coffee shop in Whittier called “HONIG’S” many in the officiating world know the “store”. He has been selling officiating supplies since 2007. He is not married and has no children (there is a girlfriend). He is 37 years old. Phil attended Rio Hondo community college in Whittier California. Phil’s hobbies are watching anything competitive, exercising and playing golf.

 

Dion Spenard

Dion started officiating in 2003 at the High School level. In 2012 Dion was hired by the Southern California Collegiate Football Officials Association (SCCFOA) to officiate Junior College Football.  In his first year as a college official he was awarded a post season bowl game assignment. Following that season he was hired in 2013 to the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) (D-III). In 2014 Dion was hired by the Northwest Intercollegiate Football Association (NIFOA) where he’s currently working in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) (D-II) as a Back Judge. Dion is from the Washington D.C. area and now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with his wife Philicia and son Zaiden. Dion is a Civil Engineer by trade and a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

Victor Tarleton began football officiating in 2006 Ute Conference on Saturday and high school.  In 2007, Vic’s first varsity game and currently a varsity Back Judge.  Vic worked high school first round playoff game 2010, 2011, and 2012.  In 2013 worked first and second round playoff game, and 2014 worked first round playoff game and 2A Semi-Final (Weber State).  Vic worked Field Judge (WSFL) in 2012 (two games), 2013 and 2014 (three games).  2013 worked two playoff games Field Judge (WSFL).  Vic attended Reno Camp 2010; El Paso Camp in 2011 and 2012; and Stars and Stripes Academy in 2011- 2014 (Off-Field Official).  Vic played football Brigham Young University 1992 and 1993.  1993 earned most outstanding defensive back award.  Western Athletic Conference Champions 1992-1993.  Vic works for 3rd District Juvenile Court for 21 years and currently a Probation Officer Supervisor.  Vic resides in Salt Lake City, Utah with his girlfriend Nicole and we have five daughter’s Edie, LaRen, Lisette, Asia, and Laila.

 

Scott Tate

Scott Tate has practiced law in San Francisco since 1985. He lives in Piedmont (Oakland Hills) California. He and his wife Lauren raised one daughter who was/is a basketball shooting guard and equestrian. He has worked high school games in the East bay Football Officials Association for eight years (all positions) and has been in the Northern California Community/Junior College Officials Association (“the Organization”) for four years working as an umpire.


 
Hazim Thomas

Hazim currently lives in South Dakota after traveling the country and world with his and his wife’s air force responsibilities. Some of the other locations he has lived are; Texas, Virginia, and Germany. Hazim is married and has two kids one 14 years old and his second at the age of 7. Hazim currently works at the Ellsworth Air Force base and is the sports director organizing teams and officials for intramurals.

Hazim has been working football for 10 years. Though relocating many times he has always found a way to be active in the game. He is using this academy to learn more about college officiating and to join a college crew next season. 
 

Marcus Thornton

Marcus Thornton is a Private Investor residing in Amarillo Texas.  His wife Vanessa, and 3 children who support his love of football officiating.  Marcus started officiating in 2009 at the high school level.   He began officiating college in 2013.  Marcus is currently working in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (D-II), and the Western States Football League (JC) officiating communities.  Marcus also works in the indoor football officiating community.  He is currently working in the CIF arena league.  Marcus continues to work closely with his high school chapter teaching football philosophies he learns at camps and clinics.

Greg resides in Ontario, Oregon where he is an insurance agent. He has been officiating college football in the Frontier Conference for the past eight years. Three years as a Referee and five years as a Side Judge. Greg has officiated high school football in Oregon and Idaho for over twenty years. Paul Verna and his wife Meara live in Gilbert, Arizona and have been married for 8 years with 2 children.  Paul works for Coca-Cola as a Full Service Auditor and has been with the company for 7 years.  He just completed his 8th year in small college football in the WSFL as a Side Judge and works as a Referee for high school football.  Paul also officiates basketball and softball at the high school level. 

 

Jason Weigand

Jason Wigand started officiating at the high school level in 2003 where he has worked three state championship games (2 New Jersey, 1 Pennsylvania). He began officiating at the collegiate level in 2009 with the Eastern Collegiate Football Officials Association. There he worked games at Middle Atlantic, New Jersey (D-III), and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (D-II) as a Side Judge. In 2014 He was moved up to the Northeast Conference (D-I AA) as a Side Judge, and Field Judge. Jason currently is an Executive Director for a technology and software search firm. He lives in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania with his wife Kim and four children.


 
Carl Weiss

Carl has just completed his second season at the position of Umpire for the WSFL (NJCAA). After the 2013 season, he was assigned to two post season games. After the 2014 season, he was again rewarded for his efforts by being assigned to two post season games, one of them being the WSFL Consolation Championship Game. Carl was recently added to the staff of the NIFOA. He will be working in the GNAC Conference for the upcoming 2015 season.
 
Carl and his wife Lori live in Cedar City, Utah where they enjoy being “empty nesters.”

Dave Wellington started officiating high school football in 2006, Junior College Football in 2009, all in the Northern California area. Last year, Dave worked for the NIFOA, D-3. Dave attended SASA, Tait-Consul, and the Reno Officials Camp in 2014. Dave is primarily an Umpire. Dave works for the Mendocino County Court Collections Department and lives in Ukiah with his wife and 3 children.

Chris Wiggins is a Mortgage Banker who lives in Temecula CA with his wife Kristina. They have been married for 24 years and have been blessed with three wonderful daughters: Lexi, Cami, and Jami. Chris is a graduate of UC San Diego with a BA degree in Economics.  He has been officiating since 1996.  He had the opportunity to officiate a high school game in Havana Cuba in 2003.  At the college level, he has worked in 7 Junior College postseason Bowl games.  He has been a Division III Referee for 6 years and has worked 4 Division III playoff games.  This offseason, he realized his dream when he was chosen to work the coming season as a Center Judge in the Pac 12.  He has been very fortunate to make many lifelong friendships through this avocation and is even luckier to have a family that allows him to do this.

 

Daniel Wilkins

Daniel lives in Oakland, California and is currently single. During the day he travels quite a bit as a civil engineer.

Daniel is a Field Judge in the Big Sky Conference and has been in college officiating for the past six seasons. His accomplishments thus far have been working in the 2013 Junior College North California Championship game and in 2014 he worked the Junior College State Championship as a Field Judge.

 

Jacob Wittler

Jacob Wittler followed in his father’s footsteps and began officiating high school football in 2003. Since then, he has worked multiple local and state playoff games in both California and Hawaii. In 2012 he was promoted to Crew Chief. His first Junior College assignment came in 2010. Jacob predominantly works the line of scrimmage. He was selected to work a Junior College postseason bowl game in 2012. Jacob received both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University. He is a Registered Civil Engineer and currently manages construction projects for the federal government in San Diego.


 
Todd Wittlinger

Todd Wittlinger and his wife Cindi (and their 2 black Labrador retrievers) live in Fountain Hills, AZ following a recent relocation from Madison, WI. Professionally Todd is employed by Dairy America as a Regional Sales Manager. Dairy America is one of the largest marketing organizations of dried milk powders globally. Todd and Cindi enjoy traveling and are both outdoor enthusiasts and are also consumed with learning everything about their new Arizona surroundings.
 
Todd began his collegiate officiating in 2004 as a deep official but also has extensive experience at short wing along with a number of assignments at referee. His officiating experience began in the NCAA DIII conferences of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Association, Midwest Conference and College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin. Todd was also assigned several assignments in both NCAA DI FCS Pioneer and Missouri Valley Conferences. Todd has been awarded four post season assignments in the NCAA DIII playoffs (2006, 2010 and 2014). The 2015 season was Todd's first in Arizona where he worked as BJ in the WSFL (NJCAA). Todd also officiates high school football and basketball as time allows.


 
Terry Woodley

Terry Woodley, a lifelong resident of Kansas City, MO, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Mizzou. He spent 4 years in public accounting and 5 years as CFO for a national seminar company. Terry is currently President of Woodley Building Maintenance, a janitorial and facilities services maintenance management company that employs approximately 1,000 associates in 8 states. He’s also President of Tier One Property Services; also a janitorial and facilities services management company that performs daily services over 700 locations.
 
Terry has 2 children, Alex (15) and Drew (13), who are both involved in sports. Terry says “As a parent, who is also a referee, I’m sure I’ve shared my “educated, yet unsolicited” opinions on the rules and their enforcements with other officials”. Terry is active in bicycling, running and other fitness activities.

Terry is an active board member for several non-profit entities, primarily those that support disadvantaged youth and providing support for entrepreneurs.

Terry has been officiating high school football (back judge) and basketball for 10 years and worked 3 years at Field Judge in the Heart of America Conference (NAIA). This is his 3rd consecutive as an on-field official at SASA.
