SASA Academy

The 2017 Stars and Stripes Academy (SASA) will be held Thursday, May 17th through Sunday, May 20th, with registration opening at 12:00 noon (MST) on Thursday and classroom training commencing at 2:00 p.m. The Academy will conclude Sunday, May 20th at 12 noon.

About Us

The Stars and Stripes Academy was created in 2012 by Karl Richins (former Big 12 referee and published author) and Ryan Dickson (current PAC-12 official) as a way to prepare officials for the experience of working “big time” football. The Academy is located in Salt Lake City.
